Johncom CEO ousted. Media points to Moolman

Financial Mail: EXIT MOLUSI, DEFIANT
The suspension of Johncom CEO Connie Molusi on Tuesday could have more to do with his resistance to giving up the company to Terry Moolman's Caxton than with "nonperformance", as claimed by the Johncom board, sources and media analysts say.

Sunday Times: I’m not for sale, says gagged Molusi
Another large shareholder, Gavin Joubert, portfolio manager at Coronation Fund Managers, said it was strange that the reason given was performance-related. “It’s difficult to point out what is exactly due to Connie, managers or the economy. But the fact is there’s been a significant operational improvement. The CEO must take acknowledgement for that. The reason that it’s performance-based is strange and as a shareholder I would require clarity of that reasoning.”

Journalism.co.za: Seismic moves at Johncom head office By Anton Harber
